50 Years of Organisation internationale de la Francophonie
Half a billion francophones around the world will celebrate International Francophonie Day on March 20. This event began in 1998 as a way for the 49 members of the International Organisation of Francophonie to celebrate their common bond, the French language, as well as their diversity.
The International Organisation of Francophonie represents one of the biggest linguistic zones in the world. Its members share more than just a common language, they also share humanist values. 2020 marks the 50th Anniversary of this organisation!
Once again, Alliance Française de Bombay along with the Consulates of Quebec, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, and France will unite to honour the rich diversity of the French speaking world by bringing you a series of exciting events and film screenings!
