Feb 21st (Thu), 7 pm, Theosophy Hall

Dr. David Katz

Sacred manuscripts from India’s great spiritual heritage are being lost due to changing climate, indifference, and a lack of awareness.

Conscious of the urgent need to preserve this timeless knowledge, the non-profit organisation Muktabodha Indological Research Institute (MIRI) has been identifying endangered Sanskrit manuscripts and preserving them through digitisation. These digitised texts are then freely disseminated to seekers and scholars around the world.

Come and hear about the digitised texts and amazing preservation work done by MIRI in a talk given Dr. David Katz – Chair of the MIRI Board and currently Professor of Neurosciences and Psychiatry at the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
