Two Flags chronicles the life and politics of a quaint French town: Pondicherry (India). As 4,600 Tamil French people gear up for the French Presidential elections of 2017, the film explores the idea of identity, citizenship, and home in the postcolonial era. It is a visual journey through Pondicherry, its homes and its people, and a witness to the unfolding of an absurd play of history.
