1 pm on April 14, 2018 (Sat) at the Alliance Française Auditorium
Join us for our first ever session of My francophonie – a series of workshops that will give you a taste of different aspects of francophone cultures! For the first session, we will focus on the Lumière brothers – Auguste Marie Louis Nicolas and Louis Jean – who were among the first filmmakers in history. They patented an improved cinematograph which, in contrast to Thomas Edison’s “peepshow” kinetoscope, allowed simultaneous viewing by multiple parties.
