Till April 30th, 2015
Fondation Alliance Française launches the fifth edition of the international photography contest : “Climat, Etat d’urgence” (Climate, state of emergency) under the patronage of Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
The earth’s climate is dynamic and always changing through a natural cycle. What the world is more worried about is that the changes that are occuring today have been speeded up because of man’s activities. How the pollution, the traffic, the waste, affect climate change and people’s lives in India ? Which solutions – public or private – are envisioned or being implemented to fight the negative outcomes of these changes?
Illustrate these issues through 2 high definition photos and send them along with the Registration form to [email protected]. The competition is open to any amateur and semi-professional photographer above 18 years of age. A jury representing Alliance Française de Bombay will announce the local winner for Mumbai in June 2015 and will allow him/her to compete in the finals. The final winner for the international competition, selected by the Parisian jury, will be awarded travel expenses for a one-week stay in Paris and their photos will be displayed as part of a collective exhibition in Paris and abroad. The final winner will be announced on the Fondation Alliance Française website : www.fondation-alliancefr.org on October 25th, 2015.
