Urban and popular culture has often been under rated, even though it represents the people’s voice. Being aware that artistic exchanges are essential for a music scene to develop, European institutions are now bringing their contribution to today’s ever-growing hip hop scene in India.

The European institutions are inviting some of the best artists from their countries, and the music local partners are coordinating the project on-ground and involving local artists. The project will feature workshops during 4 days, for young talents and under privileged children from May 9th till 12th, and a big all-night performance at blueFROG on May 12th.

 

On May 9th:

– Graffiti mural @ Cool Chef café (from 5 pm)

– Breakdance / Beat box workshops with Dharavi Rocks, from 6 to 8 pm, at St-Xaviers college (Mahim)

Live at Blue Frog from 6pm onwards featuring european and indian artists: breakdance, graffiti and beatbox!

6.30-8.30pm Bboying Jam organised by Roc Fresh Crew

8.30-9.30pm Beat boxing workshop conducted by Droolian, Boxy-Turvy

10-10.20pm Boxy Turvy + guests
