Make a film in French

Come and produce a film from scratch about Mumbai’s hidden heritage! Do you know an astonishing place in Mumbai related to an interesting story? A workshop, a temple, a restaurant, a dead-end, a factory, a courtyard, an underground passage, a little-known monument, a rooftop, a boat, a shed, an office, a bus, a beach, a shop or any other memorable place?

Led by Julien Vergne (see www.julienvergne.com), a French professional filmmaker, you will learn how to write, shoot and edit a 1 or 2-minute long, fiction or documentary, short film. People owning a still camera will have the opportunity to train their photography skills as well. The workshop will start on July 6 and end on August 4, 2012. Each group of 3 to 5 participants will make a film. There will be 2 writing sessions in French, a complete shooting day, and hours of editing. The final result, films and still pictures, will be exhibited at the Alliance Française de Bombay.
Participants must have at least B1 level of French.

Registration is reserved for Alliance française students/members on a first come first served basis at the Alliance Française de Bombay. Please call us at (91-22) 22035993 or send a mail at [email protected]
