Spirit of Boz was founded in 2006 by Julien Friedler whose goal is to promote contemporary art and the collective creation around the Boz. The association has a humanistic and an artistic purpose. It is financed through the sale of the artworks of Julien Friedler and donations.
THE FOREST OF SOULS – AROUND THE BOZ IN 80 YEARS
“The Forest of Souls” is unique. This project was initiated (in 2006) by Julien Friedler and is planned to last 80 years. This is to discover the thoughts of each other, cultures. The questions are invariable, only the answers are different. Drawn or written, dreamed or sung, they enchant the work to come: the forest of souls. Alliance Française de Bombay will distribute questionnaires to those wishing to participate. The six questions that participants must answer have something to keep you awake.
All answers are accepted: written, drawn sculpted… All questionnaires were pooled in columns. Each column represents a tree. Forest of Souls will be accomplished through an installation in 2013.
