After Rabindranath Tagore, Arun Kolatkar is only the second modern Indian poet to be included in the prestigious collection of Poésie/Gallimard.
Kitab Khana – in association with Alliance Française de Bombay & The PEN All-India Centre – takes pleasure in inviting you to a discussion on the work of the bilingual English-Marathi poet Arun Kolatkar (1932-2004).
This event is a celebration of the publication, in France, of Kolatkar’s Kala Ghoda: Poèmes de Bombay (Kala Ghoda Poems), translated by Laetitia Zecchini and Pascal Aquien.
The speakers are Laetitia Zecchini, co-translator of this work, and poet and cultural theorist Ranjit Hoskote.
