KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival 2013

The 4th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival 2013 will be held May 22-26, 2013 at mainstream multiplex theater in suburban Mumbai and May 23-25, 2013 at Alliance Française de Bombay in South Mumbai.
The theme for KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival 2013 is TOWARDS CHANGE, recognizing the progressive movements for equality and dignity for gay, lesbian and transgender persons across the world, including India. KASHISH 2013 will highlight, reflect upon and celebrate these movements ‘Towards Change’.
The festival will program features, documentaries and short films from all over the world and also hold panel discussions and interface with filmmakers. This year the Country Focus will be CHINA, and the festival will screen films from mainland China as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The festival hopes to once again fulfill its promise of being one of Mumbai’s most anticipated annual cultural events.
