A literary evening dedicated to a trilingual reading of Em and the Big Hoom by Jerry Pinto. This book has been described as “one of the very best books to come out of India in a long, long time” (Salman Rushdie), “profoundly moving” (Amitav Ghosh) and translated into Marathi and French. The Marathi translation will be read by Shanta Gokhale and the French translation by students of the University of Mumbai.
