In collaboration with the Indian Association of Teachers of French (IATF), the Consulate of France in Mumbai and the French Institute in India, Alliance Française de Bombay will be participating in the celebrations marking 150 years of St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai by organizing the following programs as part of the French Day :
10.00 am, Workshop by Frédéric Simon Storytelling as a tool for teaching FLE
This workshop is designed for teachers of French and will equip them with the tools needed to use storytelling techniques for teaching French as a foreign language.

1:30 pm, French Love Poems in Motion by St. Andrew’s Centre for Philosophy and Performing Arts
In collaboration with the St. Andrew’s Centre for Philosophy & Performing Arts (SAPP), we bring you French love poems translated in English performed by a set of actors using Text, Voice and Body.

2.30 pm French songs – Part I by Smriti Minocha
3.30 pm French songs – Part II by Smriti Minocha
The classically trained vocalist, music composer and playback singer Smriti Minocha will be singing some French classics, some new and popular French songs, along with some Indian classical pieces.
