In partnership with the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles and the Québec Government Office in Mumbai, we present to you a screening of the docufiction Tuktuq – the story of a cameraman who is sent to a small Inuit village in the remote Nunavik region of Quebec. The cameraman initially thinks that his visit is part of a government project to film the local community. However, he soon discovers that the real motive is the impending forceful displacement of the local population as part of a major new hydroelectricity initiative.
