“You can fix a Border but not the River” : Meet fourteen-years-old Rubel, taking rice to Bangladesh from India by crossing Ganga, the river that acts as the border. The river eroded his home when he was a toddler. Now he lives in CHAR… a fragile island formed within the river. The people who settled in this no man’s land are not recognized by the Governments. With death just a bullet away Rubel dreams of a life in city while hiding and walking with a sack of rice to reach another country… and come back to his invalid parents, a sister and a brother who depend on him.
