One of the most beautiful portraits of « Marguerite Duras, a lady of letters », as the woman says. She also says that she makes films because she hasn’t the strength to not nothing. Beautiful, free, political, haunted by her past, swearing to forget nothing, Duras is always there.

This movie is an introduction to Marguerite Duras’ work. Gates to India Song has been adapted by Eric Vigner from two of her works. The play is part of the Bonjour India Festival.
