After a painful divorce, Louise Wimmer loses nearly everything and finds herself on the street. With only her car, in which she lives and sleeps, and the voice of Nina Simone, she does everything she can to get her life back. She earns a pittance as a cleaner, but it’s not enough to live on: her things are in storage and she is forced to spend the night in her car. Whenever she starts the car, we hearSinnerman by Nina Simone blaring from the speakers. At first its support in a musical form, but soon it becomes an infuriating reminder of her tragic existence.
