In Cairo, a corrupt policeman, Hatim, controls Choura a popular area. Only the women he loves Nour , a school teacher, dare to confront him. Nour is in love with another man, Chérif the young and handsome public prosecutor, a critic of the so called democratic movement in Egypt. Youssef Chahine directed this movie when he was 81 years old and tried to transform it into a story.
