Retable d’Issenheim is Grünewald’s largest work, and is regarded as his masterpiece. Portrait de Baldassare Castiglione is an oil painting attributed which is considered as one of the great portraits of the Renaissance. Le repas chez Levi is one of the largest canvases of the 16th century and was painted by Veronese for the rear wall of the refectory of the Basilica di Santi Giovanni e Paolo.
