Vincent and Berengère, both from bourgeois families, are getting married in the church in the presence of their loved ones. The day which started out more or less, slowly falls apart as the hours tick by. The marriage is seen differently by certain members of the family of the young couple, not to mention by the couple itself: family secrets, gossip, misunderstandings
