LITERATURE | CONFERENCE-DISCUSSION WITH MAKENZY ORCEL

After Les Immortelles (“The Immortals” / Under the Peepal Tree) a very moving work of fiction about the Haiti earthquake of 2010, he is back with L’Ombre animale and, as he always does, gives his voice to the voiceless and the deprived, and creates a powerful chorus of love, violence and hope.

The conference will be moderated by Vidya Vencatesan, Professor and Head of the Department of French, University of Mumbai.
