  • Films will be screened every Saturday, 2.00 pm at our Santacruz Centre. Screenings will be followed by short discussion with a professor in English
  • Films will be screened every Monday, 6.00 pm at  AF Bombay Auditorium (40 Theosophy Hall, New Marine Lines, Churchgate).

All the films we screen are subtitled in English, and screening rights for India are duly secured. Whenever possible, we bring you recent releases to keep you connected with current French filmmaking, while also revisiting iconic classics that have shaped the history of French cinema.

Eighty-year-old Marie is fed up with her illness. She has a plan: to go to Switzerland and end her life. Pretending to have a mysterious inheritance to collect from a Swiss bank, she suggests they all take a trip together. Rudy, a caregiver she just met the day before, becomes an unwitting accomplice in this charade. He takes the wheel of the family’s old camper van and drives this family on an unexpected journey.

The film tells the story of a couple’s demise through clashes, arguments, separations, and reconciliations. Finally, weary of the relationship, Catherine decides to marry a man more socially respectable than Jean, with whom she leaves, leaving Jean heartbroken.
