- Films will be screened every Monday, 6.00 pm at AF Bombay Auditorium (40 Theosophy Hall, New Marine Lines, Churchgate).

Eighty-year-old Marie is fed up with her illness. She has a plan: to go to Switzerland and end her life. But when it comes time to tell Bruno, her irresponsible son, and Anna, her rebellious teenage granddaughter, she panics and invents a huge lie. Pretending to have a mysterious inheritance to collect from a Swiss bank, she suggests they all take a trip together. Rudy, a caregiver she just met the day before, becomes an unwitting accomplice in this charade. He takes the wheel of the family’s old camper van and drives this family on an unexpected journey.

The film tells the story of a couple’s demise through clashes, arguments, separations, and reconciliations. Finally, weary of the relationship, Catherine decides to marry a man more socially respectable than Jean, with whom she leaves, leaving Jean heartbroken.
