ABOUT THE FILMS:

1. Lalanna’s Song directed by Megha Ramaswamy
Two young women on what seems to be a routine day dealing with prejudice and sexism. Their world starts to break down into David Lynch-like shards, triggered by their encounter with a possibly supernatural young girl, Lalanna, whose song may bring death with it.

2. Spiralling Into Desire directed Brinda Jacob-Janvrin, Roohi Dixit & Ziba Bhagwagar
An experimental film that explores a woman’s journey to reclaim her autonomy, drawing from the myth of the Sumerian goddess Innana’s descent into the underworld. Blending movement arts, psychology, and spirituality, the film addresses the Madonna/Whore split and how we hold desire in our bodies.

3. The Astronaut & His Parrot directed by Arati Kadav
An accident causes a spaceship to explode and an astronaut tumbles out of it. He starts floating and falling in space and frantically tries to connect to someone.
