As part of Francophonie 2022, join us for the virtual documentary screening of Jukebox : un rêve américain fait au Québec accessible online on March 23 (Wed). The online streaming of this documentary is being organised in partnership with the Québec Government Office in Mumbai.

The film traces the life of Denis Pantis – the son of a Greek immigrant who became passionate about rock’n’roll in the mid-1950s. His dream was to become the next Elvis. Instead, he became one of the most important record producers in the 1960s. This documentary retraces the career of this man who was nicknamed “the king of singles”. Around him, a new generation of stars, producers, musicians, and lyricists emerged who set up an “independent” record industry the likes of which are rarely seen anywhere in the world.

  • The window described in the previous step will have a notification saying This video is private. Please enter the password sent in our mail and click on Submit.
