In Johannesburg, two years after the first democratic elections, the journalist Thandeka lives with the ghosts of the past in his country. One day, an old lady turns up at the newspaper office and asks Thandeka to find her daughter’s killers. The two women engage in a difficult investigation that will reveal the ongoing clutches of apartheid.
