François Truffaut, une autobiographie / Francois Truffaut, an autobiography by Anne Andreu (78′)

truffaut-camera

Anne Andreu’s film is a sympathetic and revealing sketch of the filmmaker’s artistic concerns. What is the most moving about it is the morphing portrait of Truffaut as he goes from childhood and adolescence into adulthood, and, from there, into middle age—and no further (he died at the age of fifty-two).
