Indochina, 1945. Robert Tassen, a young French soldier, is the only survivor of a massacre in which his brother and sister-in-law were killed before his eyes. Blinded by his revenge, Robert embarks on a solitary and secret search for assassins. But his meeting with Mayi, a young Indochinese, will upset his beliefs. Will there be any solace for Tassen and the other men trapped in the middle of the jungle and surrounded by enemy troops?
