Within the framework of Francophonie 2021, join Alliance Française de Pune for the DIGITAL storytelling workshop Histoires? Raconte! with the performance artist Sylvain Gagnier at 2:30 pm on March 4, 2021.

During the course of this workshop IN FRENCH, Gagnier will narrate stories that unfold in the deserts of Africa which will be interspersed with traditional French songs. He will engage in a dialogue with the participants by inviting them to take part in the story-telling process with words, rhymes, and gestures. The goal of the workshop is to help participants discover the storyteller within themselves in a fun setting!

About the Facilitator

Gagnier is a French performance artist whose work draws inspiration from the traditional tales and folklore of the orient. In France, he is associated with the Théâtre du Fil, the Compagnie Atelier de l’Orage, the Compagnie Ucorne, and the Théâtre Chaoué. He received the Public Prize in the Nouvelles Ondes Festival, Pantin in 2017 for his show « Translation » adapted from the eponymous story by Nicolas Bouvier.
