An emblematic figure of the post-Independence generation, the painter Akbar Padamsee constantly reflected on the relationship between form, colour, and space. He analyzed and confronted Western and Asian aesthetic theories while relentlessly exploring new forms of expression to create works of great intensity. This portrait is one of four films produced by Lalit Kala Akademi and directed by Laurent Brégeat and will be screened courtesy of Piramal Museum of Art.
