To be or not to be in India by Paco Wiser (95’)

A young French actor, Elie, is challenged by his friend and filmmaker, Paco, to play Hamlet in the streets of Delhi. The task seems overwhelming when he faces language problems between Hindi, French and Shakespearian English. Together, they take up the challenge of playing Hamlet confronted with the realities of present day India. The existential truths that some travelers come to seek in India are depicted through the fiction of Shakespeare.
