Berthe Morisot is the first woman who became a professional painter and Impressionist. At 25-year-old her dream is to earn a living as a painter, to never get married and always stay with her sister Edma. But her parents carve out a far more conventional future for her. When Berthe meets Manet, he makes her reconsider her approach to  painting and to the world.
