Michel Boivin is the Director of Research at the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), and Director Elect of the Centre for Indian and South Asian Studies. He is Professor of Historical Anthropology of South Asian societies and cultures at the Advanced School for Social Sciences (EHESS) in Paris where he supervises a number of MPhil and PhD students.
