The young Courge lives in the heart of the forest, raised by his father, a tyrannical giant who reigns triumphant over his domain and prevents his son from exploring beyond its boundaries. Isolated from civilization, the boy grows up wild, with for only companions the placid ghosts who haunt the forest. That is, until the day he ventures into the nearest village, and meets young Manon. .
