On the occasion of Art Thursday, Alliance Française de Bombay and Sakshi Gallery will present a tribute to Alain Resnais.

The film exhibits a series of sculptures, masks and other traditional art from Sub-Saharan Africa, and focuses on the perception of African sculptures from a historical and contemporary European perspective.

Toute la mémoire du monde  by Alain Resnais  (21’)
This documentary explores the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris. Resnais introduces the library as a fortress to protect the memory of humanity.
